Current- Developed several significant functional enhancements, including mechanisms for exporting schedules from a third-party system at the click of a button and supporting marketing campaigns, such as the "Night at the Cinema" initiative by the Cinema Foundation.- Created an open-source wrapper library for material-ui in Scala to simplify the development of the client-side applications in Scala. The tool was used in the development of admin systems and internal projects of the company.- Developed an onboarding plan for Scala developers and participated in their mentoring.- Wrote and implemented an open-source utility library for the company, compiling improvements, extensions, and wrappers for Scala/Java libraries and platforms. This simplified work within the Scala ecosystem by reducing boilerplate code and allowing a focus on business logic development.- Rewrote one of the company’s internal projects in full-stack Scala, making development more efficient and reliable.- Implemented integration for "The Pushkin Card" project with other company systems, ensuring reliable interconnection between various components.- Initiated the adoption of tools for Scala, such as scalafmt, scalafix, tpolecat, etc., to organize and simplify the work of developers.- Researched and implemented a new development stack using the ZIO ecosystem in conjunction with libraries like http4s, tapir, sttp, refined, chimney, etc.- Developed a CRM system for cinemas, ensuring management of business-critical processes.- Initiated an upgrade of the Java version from 8 to 17 in the company’s projects to improve performance and security.- Researched and implemented an improved development stack for Scala.js based on Vite and Ant Design, using scalablytyped.- Rewrote a number of significant modules for the company from Perl to Scala, eliminating legacy code.
