Clients: Corner Store / CST Brands Inc.Role: I was humming along fine as a full time freelance creative, but then I met the cool folks over at Connor Creative. They dug my style and brought me on to flex my shopper marketing and retail design skills and apply it to their Corner Store convenience store account where I get to participate in rebranding Corner Store products, design packaging and concept promotional retail campaigns.

But instead of dipping my toe in the water I did a full on cannonball dive. It was exhilarating getting to work in my pajamas and having client meetings at bars and coffee shops! I worked as a freelance creative in the San Antonio/Austin area partnering with local ad agencies and companies providing graphic design and art direction services.

Clients: Coors Light, Hershey's, ConAgra Foods, Smucker's, Mondelez InternationalRole: Due to the agency's successes with the Miller Lite account (we lived, breathed, and drank our fair share!) MillerCoors awarded us the Coors Light account in 2012. I was part of a great team that developed and executed insightful, on-strategy and compelling Hispanic/Multicultural National/Regional shopper marketing programs for the Coors Light brand. I spearheaded the art direction of various retail promotions, live events, mobile and web content, as well as experiential. Also participated in retail marketing campaign efforts for clients such as Hershey's, ConAgra Foods, Mondelez International and Smucker's.

Clients: Miller Lite, Miller Genuine Draft, Coca-Cola, Splenda, General MillsRole: Developed national promotions, branding, packaging and spectacular merchandising displays for the MillerCoors portfolio of brands, mainly Miller Lite and Miller Genuine Draft. Had the opportunity to travel around the country and in Mexico on photoshoot productions for Miller Lite. It was a tough job but hey someone had to do it! Also participated in are direction on projects for Coca-Cola, Splenda and General Mills brands. Was the lead Art Director of the pitch team that won the Coors Light business for the agency in 2012.

Clients: San Antonio Spurs, Toyota, San Antonio Express-News, University Health System, CPS EnergyRole: Provided stellar art direction services on advertising campaigns for a variety of clients, but mainly worked on Spurs Sports & Entertainment (NBA Spurs, AHL Rampage, WNBA Silver Stars and the AT&T Center events). I never achieved my dream of playing in the NBA but I found solace in that I was able to design materials and campaigns for the NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs! I also participated in rebranding efforts for the San Antonio Opera, Assumption Seminary & Our Lady of the Lake University.
