B. Inventar der Wälder- Teilnahme derWald-Zustand-Erhaltung- Labortätigkeiten, wie z. B. genetische Untersuchungen an Baumarten- Vegetative Vermehrung von Pflanzen mittels Pfropfung und Absteckung

1. Ensure that healthy clean forestry/Agroforestry tree seed are available for distribution and storage in line with the revised FAO Gene bank Standards,2. Collaborate with national partners to organize agroforestry tree seed collection missions,3. Ensure that international and local forestry/AF tree seed requests are promptly attended to and where possible distribution done in line with the international Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture,4. Document and Maintain a seed-testing database,5. Maintain seed acquisition and distribution database,6. Update forestry/AF seeds collection data in the Local database and public shares,7. Collaborate in conducting research on forestry/agroforestry seed and in publishing on agroforestry tree seed science and technology,8. Manage day to day activities in the seed Laboratory in line with set international standards,9. Supervise Seed Laboratory staff, Research fellows and student interns.

- Planning and organizing the activities in the Laboratory- Preparation of the culture medium,- Isolation and inoculation of bacteria, - Conduct Biochemical test and Microscopic analysis,- Conduct DNA extraction, Polymerase Chain Reaction, Gel electrophoresis.- Demonstrating Procedures.- Bacterial DNA sequence analysis using BLAST and Finchtv softwares.
