Responsible for the delivery of engineering services to the industrial agriculture, food and beverage, biochemical and biopharmaceutical sectors across Western Canada. Collaborate with Laporte Engineering offices across Canada, United States and Europe to develop and support projects through a wide range of services including process, mechanical, electrical and automation, packaging engineering design.

Lead process engineering design and project management services for agri-food and bio-chemical industry sectors. Responsible for all aspects of business management, engineering design and project management. Led development and implementation of ISO 9001 registration process.

Responsibilities as project engineer included development and implementation of capital projects. Projects included process and infrastructure improvements.Promoted to Production Manager, responsible for facility operations including production, maintenance and quality assurance and for warehouse operations.Canbra Foods was the largest integrated canola seed crush, refinery, solvent extraction and packaging facility in Canada (The facility was purchased by James Richardson International in 1999).

Provided support as process design engineer on project teams to develop and implement capital projects within a chemical plant environment (metals and chemicals).Prepared process flow diagrams, P&IDs, layouts, equipment lists, piping drawings, bills of materials and engineering specifications.Provided on-site plant maintenance support for metal and chemicals manufacturing facilities.
