School Based Counselor/Therapist for the William S. Hart Union High School District• Create and implement appropriate plans/interventions to facilitate academic and personal achievement • Collaborate and consult with students, parents, teachers and administrators regarding student progress and concerns • Provide academic, personal, social and crisis counseling to students, as well as mediation counseling between students, parents, and teachers• Serve as the school’s administrative designee for IEPs, 504s, and SSTs on a weekly basis • Schedule 9-12th grade students in the appropriate classes to insure appropriate placement based on grades, test scores, teacher recommendation, academy and after HS goals to enable students to meet their graduation requirements and ‘A-G’ eligibility • Advise students and parents regarding college information: college selection, college application process, ACT & SAT information, scholarship information• Organize and coordinate the college visitations for college bound 10-12th grades• Supervise weeknight and weekend events to ensure events run smoothly and campus safety for students and guests
