PhD Research Fellowship for a period of 4 years, funded by The Research Council of Norway. The fellowship is based in the High Energy Physics section at the Department of Physics with the purpose of research training leading to the completion of a PhD degree. The research is focused on the search for Dark Matter as a part of the Strategic Dark Matter Initiative (SDI). This is a new initiative for Dark Matter research, combining research in astro­, astroparticle­ and particle physics, established by The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.The research project is performed as a part of the research group in the High Energy Physics section at the Department of Physics, UiO, that is working with the ATLAS experiment at CERN in Switzerland. The research is focused on Dark Matter produced in decays of the Higgs boson at the LHC and includes working with large amounts of experimental data, advanced data analysis methods, statistical inference, programming and software development, as well as theortical physics.

As a part of the PhD Research Fellowship position, 25% is dedicate towards teaching at the Department of Physics. This consists of working as a teaching assistant for courses at the department, participate in the planning of the teaching, correcting and giving feedback on deliveries, correcting exams and course evaluations.Participated in the course FYS-MEK1110 (Mechanics) during spring terms and FYS2160 (Thermodynamics and statistical physics) during fall terms.
