Kathleen Blake - Among Milwaukee's most sought-after interior designers since 1996 RETIRED Whether an urban condo or a Lake Michigan Estate renovation, a conservative legal office expansion or selecting paint colors for a 431 square foot apartment, Kathleen Blake takes a straightforward approach to her Designing.Kathleen's strength lies in getting know the needs and personalities of her clients. Collaborative by nature and by drawing on her diverse Design experience, Kathleen easily figures out what she envisions for her client through discussions and exploration. By taking the time to assess the challenges posed by an existing space, Kathleen is able to tackle the project fully prepared to represent the needs of the client.Kathleen's diverse experience includes NYC Stage Design experience as well as Grand Opera and Classical Theatre, Federated Department Store's Fashion Director, and a member of Milwaukee's Conceptual Design Team for the revamp of the historical Third Ward. Since moving back to Milwaukee in 1996, Kathleen has been pursuing her passion for residential Interior Design, helping individuals and families realize their own vision for their homes under her tutelage. She has received numerous design awards in her various careers. Most recently two of her homes were featured in M Magazine, and she has received accolades as well for inspirational facilities for faith and fellowship like St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in the Dells, and the Lutheran Church in Fox Point.Kathleen received her Bachelors from the University of Wisconsin and her Master of Fine Arts from New York University. And regardless of the city in which she has lived, she has never wavered as a noisy fan of the Badgers and Green Bay Packers. For Kathleen, careers may change, but never her values or her loyalties.
