With over five years of experience as a registered nurse, I am passionate about providing quality care and support to patients and their families. I currently work as a registered nurse at Dignity Health, a leading health care organization that strives to uphold the highest standards of health, collaboration, justice, stewardship, and excellence. As part of the labor and delivery team, I assist with the safe and smooth delivery of newborns, monitor the vital signs and well-being of mothers and babies, and educate and empower parents on antenatal care, labor, and the delivery process. I will soon have a master of science degree in family practice nursing from West Coast University, and I am certified in advanced cardiac life support, basic life support, and advanced fetal monitoring. I have also worked as a registered nurse at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital and Clovis Community Medical Center, where I gained valuable experience in different clinical settings. I am proficient in using various medical equipment and software, and I have excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. I am honored to have received the President's Volunteer Service Award and be invited to become a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, chapter Chi Beta, for my dedication and contribution to the nursing profession and the community. I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies, and I seek to improve my knowledge and practice through continuous education and feedback.
