  My first project at slack was to develop a process to detect and revoke inactive legacy API tester tokens while maintaining sensitivity to customer needs. Since its first run, this process has revoked over 400,000 tokens, reducing the total number of externally-owned tokens to ~39,000. Reducing the security liability these tokens present has helped to make Slack a more reliable, trustworthy, enterprise-grade product.I am proud to have served as tech lead for the Deprecations Dashboard and data pipeline project, supporting the pillar-wide initiative to reduce technical debt and improve productivity for not only Platform developers and Customer Experience agents, but also across other teams and pillars. Approximately 60-70% of time spent preparing for a deprecation involves communicating with customers. To streamline this process, I built an easily extensible, robust data pipeline, as well as APIs and utilities for detecting and informing customers of usage of deprecated features.I also owned the validation component in a project that will enable developers to create apps programmatically. It's coming soon!I pride myself on my ability to dissect customer issues and get to a point where remediation is possible through self-service functionality for our amazing Customer Experience agents. This has the obvious benefit of reducing my team's escalation load. :)I have also speedily published APIs for the App Config UI modernization project to improve the third-party app developer experience and reduce technical debt.
