Energy Solutions Group, part of Patronale Group, operates and invests in solar, wind, hyper charging and battery parks. Primary focus is the Benelux. As an independent energy player with a buy-and-hold strategy, the idea is to help realising the energy conversion towards green, clean and stable energy. My role is to help attracting and optimising.

• Responsible for managing and divesting a portfolio of commercial real estate in Central Europe.
• Portfolio includes distressed logistic, semi-industrial, residential and retail exposure.
• The aim is to maximize the recovery of the investment, as quickly as possible.
• Due to the international context and multiple parties involved, the job required especially project management and coaching skills

• Part of the 2-member project team responsible within KBC Merchant Banking to divest KBC Germany
• Goal was to disentangle a fully embedded entity, respecting agreements made with authorities.
• Responsible to identify and solve disentanglement issues, with respect for the parties involved.
• Give steering to the experts involved and provide senior management with decision ready alternatives.

• Responsible for managing credit risk in the portfolio of KBC, trying to minimize unexpected losses.
• Responsible for developing and implementing hedging and investment strategies.
• Heading the project team to develop new tools, including economic capital and valuation models.
• Expert in structured products, using them both for hedging as well as investment purposes.

• Basically a training for the role of credit portfolio manager (which I applied for).
• Purpose was to get familiar with the bigger corporate exposures
• Focus was on optimising the portfolio for securitisation purposes.
