I tech led Data and Infrastructure at Affirm. I consolidated the various engineering efforts into a consolidated Data@Affirm to drive an unified product strategy, which over time ensured that Affirm collected data from consumers compliantly, extracted maximum value from data, and met all the security and privacy obligations.I have had the opportunity to tech lead Affirm's data stack from scratch, including the following:1. the creation of Affirm's data contracts, eventing platform, data lake, data warehouse, and core data layer.2. Affirm's UK-GDPR compliance using a scalable shift-left strategy by efficiently translating privacy requirements into a codified engineering CI tool to collect data categories and enforcing controls.3. acceleration of a/b testing and product iteration by ideating, and building AXP (Affirm Experiments Platform)4. cost optimization workflows that saved $XXmn per year on infrastructure costs5. programs to scale infrastructure sustainably during peak periods (e.g. Black Friday)

MindSumo is a best of its kind crowdsourcing platform that connects companies and millennials. Companies launch a variety of challenges to source ideas, work and insights. Solvers win prizes, experience, and recognition. MindSumo has served over 100 companies (including 75 among the Fortune 500), and 2 million users (including 300,000 registered millennials).I joined MindSumo as an Engineer (Data and Full Stack) in 2014. Since August 2015, I have been leading and managing all Product, Engineering and B2C Marketing efforts.- I developed strategies and led efforts that grew the solver millennial community 10x in 18 months (+ a strong y/y user and MAU growth). Peer referrals, incentives, marketing campaigns, SEO, and conversion optimization helped us create processes for growth.- With optimizations and new frameworks to improve sales lead generation, enterprise NPS, and overall team efficiency, the company became profitable and boasted 10% mo/mo bookings growth.- I designed features and strategies for our enterprise product and client management teams to increase the number of challenges that a company launches in a year by 50%.- I built the software infrastructure, the web, and mobile (iOS & Android) applications, and implemented dozens of successful features for the enterprise - white label offering, insights & submissions review dashboards, NLP, text analysis, HTML text highlights, solver payments, intra-organization referrals, need collectors, and third-party integrations.- Hired and led engineering, design, and product marketing teams.

I helped Prophecy Sciences build its neuroscience based behavioral analysis system that was used by corporations and staffing firms to gather more data points about a candidate.- I built the software/hardware unit - sensors, microcontrollers, firmware, computer interfaces, and housing units.- I helped develop the algorithm that powered the insights engine.
