As Director of Grants, my responsibilities will entail overseeing a comprehensive resource development and grant management program to support the operations of a twelve-county regional hunger-relief organization. Feeding Northeast Florida relies on grants and donations to ensure +250,000 people experiencing food insecurity receive immediate food assistance, essential nutritional programming, and rigorous anti-hunger advocacy.

Directly supports and implements the mission of The Arc Jacksonville in several key areas to facilitate the development and well-being of constituents with intellectual and developmental differences. Guides programs and resources that enable members to become part of the local community and live safe, healthy, and independent lives.▪ Directs and manages supportive living services, teams, resources, and all related operations for a neighborhood of 121 residents housed in single family homes.▪ Manages, trains, and coaches a team of professionals to achieve individual and team goals. Creates a work culture of engagement, empowerment, and accountability to ensure a high performing team. ▪ Spearheads the creation of policies and procedures to ensure consistent processes are in place, ranging from program eligibility to residential move in. Continuously evaluates the infrastructure to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.▪ Ensures that organizational volunteers are recruited, trained, and managed to support organizational goals. Supervises AmeriCorps National Service members to ensure those resources are managed according to contract, and that members are developed and supported.

As AmeriCorps Program Director, 2/2015-1/2018, promoted to direct the onboarding, training, and management of three classes of 25-30 members each through their service year across five Arc locations. ▪ Led training and resource development, elevating program funding from $ 250,000 to >$ 355,000.00 through effective grant and program management, exceeding key performance measures in every service year.▪ Also served as Director, Volunteer Services Department, managing Volunteer Coordinators who recruited, trained, and managed > 400 volunteers annually across five Arc sites. Guides the plan of community outreach events to maximize community support of the agency. ▪ Additionally serves as Manager, Club Arc supervising VISTA Volunteer Coordinators, AmeriCorps members, and agency volunteers to plan and facilitate an event known as Club Arc West, a weekly social event for agency constituents. Manages plans, budgets, and operations to ensure the program meets/exceeds goals.

-Designed the guest experience to ensure an enjoyable experience with new and veteran customers to the largest paint and sip franchise.-Led painting classes in a fun and casual atmosphere.

Initially hired as a Child Advocate, navigating the dependency system for > 120 children and families. Rapidly promoted to Manager, leading a team of professionals and > 40 volunteers with monthly home visits, the observation of visitation, service coordination, and judicial advocacy. ▪ Designed and facilitated volunteer training for Child Advocates and created a resource center to aid Advocates in learning about dependency and case management. Recognized for exceptional evaluation and management reviews.

Served and supported 85-100 at-risk students to improve their school attendance, behavior, and academic success through thoughtful care management. Conducted home visits, counseling, tutoring, and academic assistance to aid students and families. Created new programs including peer mediation, a food bank, clothing closet, wellness seminars, a learning lab and peer tutoring to support program success. Facilitated an anti-bullying campaign and various Red Ribbon Week activities.

As Program Director, TEAM UP, 1/2009-1/2011, spearheaded the TEAM UP after-school elementary school program at Lake Forest Elementary School, leading 20 employees and 150 students in academic and enrichment activities.
