Understanding our data + the competitive market to help leaders make better decisions for our players.

I sat on the strategic intelligence team for League of Legends, where I was responsible for financial analysis, data support, and strategic advising for Riot. My job was not only to report on our KPIs, but understand what moved them, and how we could improve our business. The tools I used depended on the question, but they often included things like data analytics through SQL, Databricks, Python, R, Excel, and Tableau, or more open-ended tools like frameworks, stakeholder meetings, and player research. Specific projects included, -Completing and socializing the 2018-2019 financial forecast for Riot Games-Building a time-series based competitive market tracker using open text data. Analyzed in PySpark through a custom-built SQL table, visualized in Tableau -Creation of monthly, and quarterly business review slides for the Board of Directors-Curating and presenting a monthly KPI review meeting to League leadership and key stakeholders-Creating a competitive analysis of Twitch influencers and viewership behavior on game health-Conducting high-value ad-hoc analyzes on game health, player behavior, and competitive trends

-Contracts acquired by Campus SherpaFounder and former CEO of Candid Campus Tours, a service that aims to provide personalized and honest tours of colleges by real students. We currently organize tours at over 40 colleges in the United States. As of May 2019, we have over 155 tour guides operating under our service. In October 2017, we were the sole winner of seed funding from the Alan B. Miller Entrepreneurship Center at William & Mary.Leading the team has been an incredible challenge and learning experience which I will always cherish. I can't wait to see what the future will hold for Candid Campus.Featured on the front page of the Richmond Times Dispatch Sunday Business section (August 2017), in the Virginia Gazette (October 2017), and Loudon County Times (November 2017) . Winner of W&M entrepreneurship week ($1000), 2nd place at VCU Startup Spring Break ($5000), and 2nd/70+ teams at Tom Tom Founders Festival ($10000).

A marketing agency composed of student talent working for on campus, NGO, and for-profit organizations. As of June 2019, we have over 60 students working within the agency.In my role as managing partner, I selected the initial executive team, and worked to manage finance, operations, and fundraising for the business.

Selected to improve the recruitment and retention strategies for a prominent government defense agency through the development of three concrete deliverables: a comprehensive recruiting program with suggested implementation tactics, an advanced data platform recruiting propensity dashboard, and an integrated marketing communications strategy.

An importing company I started as a student founder - I sourced interesting electronic products directly from Chinese factories. I negotiated prices, organized shipping and customer procedures, as well as registered with the SCC and IRS. I built the website, www.Crisea.co, and integrated an eCommerce platform to accept major payment methods (Paypal, Visa, Mastercard). Given my complete lack of a budget, I utilized a cost effective integrated marketing communications plan. As of June 2017, I was able to achieve $3,500 in sales to 200+ customers across the US. I worked within the undergraduate and one-year master program office to facilitate activities and student advising. I informed current and potential students of opportunities within the business school through conducting tours, fielding questions, and providing advising. Within this role, I was asked to hold weekly office hours to mentor students on career readiness and resume review.Another aspect of my role was higher education strategy. I performed bench-marking on top business schools and have worked to create recommendations to improve our undergraduate business offering.
