Konstantinos Vryssas was born in Volos, Greece, in 1977. He received his Dipl. Eng. degree and Dr. Eng. degree from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2001 and 2008, respectively.From 2004 to 2007 he has cooperated several times with Theta Microelectronics S.A. working on Advanced RF IC IP & Design Services for Fixed and Mobile Broadband Wireless Communication Systems. From 2004 he has been research associate at the School of Electrical & Computer Eng. of Technical University of Crete until 2008. From 2008 to 2010 he was with Theon Sensors S.A. as a senior Analog/Mixed signal IC Design Engineer, involved in the design and development of analog/mixed signal integrated signal conditioning electronics for MEMS transducers. In 2010 he joined Broadcom (Mobile and Wireless Business Unit Broadcom, Greece) as a senior staff RF IC design engineer, and last two years, from the position of senior principal RF IC design engineer, he has been working on the design of radio transceivers, with expertise in WLAN and Cellular LTE/3G/2G receiver system and circuit design. In 2018, he became one of the co-founders of Argo Semiconductors Ltd, a consulting company offering services on Design of integrated circuits for RF/mmWave systems, Physical layer telecom system design methodology, Modeling and simulation of mixed analog-digital systems, attacking a wide range of problems (incl. modeling and compensation of analog RF non-idealities), RF DSP solutions and FPGA prototyping for physical layer telecom systems.During the pursuit of the Ph.D he has also participated in a variety of EU and university research projects for wireless applications, involving the design of modern Integrated Wireless Communication RF front-ends.Specialties: Analog-RF IC Design for wireless communications, RF Power Amplifier Design and behavioral modeling, linearization of RF Power Amplifiers
