Responsible for improving policies and practices in juvenile courts throughout the state by managing three federal grants totaling over $400,000 annually.-- Oversaw data sharing projects between the courts, child welfare and juvenile justice.-- Developed and facilitated trainings for judges, attorneys, juvenile officers, and child welfare workers.-- Created and maintained program outreach materials including website, quarterly newsletters, and brochures. Managed the Supreme Court Commission on Children, Youth, and Families and its subcommittees and implemented programming for juvenile justice and child welfare set forth in their strategic plans.-- Obtained external funding and technical assistance for projects that included the RFK National Resource Center for Juvenile Justice, Models for Change, and the National Youth Screening Assessment Partners as partners.Served on the Governor-appointed Youth Justice Reform Board and the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges Law Advisory committee.Supervised contract employees and graduate student interns.
