Project Management- Tracked multiple projects using the project based accounting software Ajera. Effectively communicated budgets, timelines and costs with upper management. Used weekly reports to track timelines and employee hours. Submitted monthly accrual reports per each client’s request. Contract Management- Assisted in preparing proposals by reviewing cost estimates, labor rates, researching past projects, reviewing document layouts, and preparing binders and packaging. Maintained open communication with procurement staff to ensure all proposals were received and awarded. Kept accurate documentation of all communication and modifications during award schedules and at closing submitted the appropriate documents. Accounting- Successfully converted from QuickBooks to Ajera project based accounting software. Maintained company operations involving accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and taxes. Because we had employees in multiple states is was crucial that all taxes were maintained and updated as employees moved or were added. Document Editing- Edited and formatted multiple documents for submittal to DOE. Demonstrated excellence in meeting deadlines and providing accurate documents. Saved our company time and thousands of dollars by keeping the editing process in house and opposed to sending it out for review. Human Resources- Processed incoming employees according to company policy, including, E-verify, payroll set up, time keeping instructions and general orientation. Office Management- Ran day to day office operations including answering telephones, moderate technical support, ordering supplies and light cleaning. Restructured company library and file system to more useful and accessible system. Improved office morale by organizing company Christmas party for 50+ employees and secured stand up desks for all in office personnel.
