- Obtained PhD in Biosciences and Biotechnology under the supervision of Dr. Thiago Motta Venancio and the title of my thesis is "Polyploidization events shaped the transcription factor repertoires in legumes (Fabaceae)".- My doctoral research focuses on phylogenomic analysis of major transcription factor (TF) families in 15 legume species with a special emphasis on their expansions due to lineage-specific polyploidization events. - Besides I am also involved in few other collaborative projects such as de novo transcriptome assembly and annotation of non-model plant species namely Cedrela fissilis and Copaifera langsdorffii.- Track record of scientific research and publication.- Worked collaboratively with other researchers from inside/outside university.- Designed and executed experiments to perform hypothesis testing.- Performed de novo genome and transcriptome assembly and annotation.- Developed and deployed pipelines for analyzing thousands of RNA-seq samples.- Developed database of soybean gene expression utilizing MySQL and Python.- Presented scientific results in seminars, poster sessions and conferences.
