With 24 lab benches inside a brand new, fully equipped and managed laboratory, Biotech and Life Science entrepreneurs are given a kick-start to establish viable and valuable new enterprises within their industries.

Initiated, designed and established StartupLab as a leading Nordic tech incubator and accelerator together with founder team. Built team and contributed to financing and strategy. Chairman of the Board since the inception.

The Norwegian Board of Technology is an independent body for technology assessment established by the Norwegian Government in 1999, following an initiative by the Norwegian Parliament (Stortinget). The body advises the Government and Parliament on technology issues and trends.

Turned around and revitalized a 60,000 m2 Science park to a bustling innovation engine in one of Norway's most interesting innovation areas. - Built and financed a new extension of the building allowing for a better utilization of all real estate that comprises the Science Park. - Launched angel fund Founders Fund, Incubators StartupLab (tech) and Aleap (medtech and health) and several initiatives catered towards innovation among students and the research community. - Financed and launched Sharelab - a shared lab space Incubator for Biotech and Life Science Startups.- Launched several industrial initiatives towards businesses to make them take an active interest and engagement in innovation and entrepreneurship. - Established a political agenda for Innovation Policy that is constantly being promoted towards politicians and policymakers through conferences, blogs, articles and speeches. Board Member and since 2012 Chairman of the FORNY board of Norwegian Research Council. The FORNY program awards every year apr. NOK 200 million to commersialisation projects for previously publicly funded research projects.

Oslotech was a significant owner in Kappa Bioscience. One of the worlds leading producers of K2 vitamins for the food additive and pharma markets. The company was sold to Balchem in 2019.

Norfund is the Norwegian Governments vehicle for investing in developing countries. Norfund makes both direct investments and act as a Limited Partner in investment Funds in developing countries.

Raised 5 funds and more than 300m Euro over the course of 10 years in Northzone I - V. Made close to 100 investments in tech and software companies across the Nordic region together with the other Northzone partners. Recruited new partners to the firm in other Nordic countries and grew the firm to become a leading Nordic Venture firm.

Hugin was since its inception in 1994 an innovator and thought leader in offering web solutions and "software as a service" to listed companies in Europe in the field of investor relations and online communication. Founded Hugin in 1994 with Ingar Østby. CEO from 1994 to 1999 and Chairman of The Board of Hugin until the sale of Hugin to Euronext / NYSE in 2006. Hugin was sold to Euronext / NYSE in December 2006 and had at the time of sale 70 employees and customers in 15 countries. Managed the sale process from start to end including stakeholder management in the sale period. Hugin is today part of Reuters Thomson.

Worked full the in the national secretariat of the TV Fundraising Campaign. Established and managed all the fund raising committees on local and regional level across Norway that were established to carry out the 1985 TV fundraising Campaign. 1985 was the UN Year of Youth and all the youth organizations in Norway cooperated to raise funds for education of Youth in developing countries.
