My first official job out of college was working the overnight shift as Associate Producer for KMOL's morning news show, which then became WOAI. I worked my way up to Producer and then made the move to the San Antonio Living show where I could exercise creative control over the show's content. I worked with regulars, sought out new guests, developed story packages (interviews, shot own video), and created several new segments including the popular Producer's Pick. This job gave me great training for PR - developing and telling good stories, learning to thrive in a deadline-driven environment, managing teams, and creating target content for a focus segment/audience.
