​Kyra used to work part-time in an accounting firm and attend college. She was given a full-time position at that company after graduating from college. Her responsibilities at the accounting firm she worked for were directly tied to the financial accounting and taxation areas of her degree. She was also assigned the duty of supervising her coworkers, so before any reports are handed to the boss, she is the one to check to see if they are completed correctly and on time. She was given the responsibility of managing 23 clients at that firm. She was in charge of keeping track of the client's books of accounts and making sure their taxes were paid on time or before the deadlines. After some time had passed, she decided to pursue a new job as an Account Specialist at a business consulting firm. She was in charge of gathering information, analyzing it, and producing reports. Her boss assigned her to run a food delivery service on the side, and she was essentially in charge of everything. Order taking, customer service, social media marketing, payroll preparation, and employee management are just a few examples. She admits that at first, it was difficult for her because it was outside of her experience, but she is glad that she had the opportunity to learn new skills in marketing, graphic design with Canva, and other areas.On the side, she works part-time helping bookkeepers during tax season. She then works graveyard for at least four months to keep up with the upcoming tax deadlines. She also gives free tax consultations to virtual assistants and even has virtual assistant clients on her own, applying their Philippine tax applications.​
