Psychiatry Research ManagerReported to Director of the Neuropsychiatry Department. Coordinated and assisted in development of Psychiatry preceptorships for Harvard Longwood Residency program and pharmaceutical companies. Coordinated all aspects of daylong seminars, including preparing slide presentations, guest speakers, technical equipment, invitations, logistics planning, negotiations and on-site oversite from beginning to end of seminar. Research CoordinatorCoordinated Depression, Anxiety, Schizophrenia, and Bipoler Clinical Trials in the Department of Psychiatry. Responsible for overseeing the study activity as well as managing the research assistants involved on projects. Conducted battery of Clinical Psychiatric testing including the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM (SCID), Beck Depression Inventory, IQ testing, and the Computer Based Cognitive Abilities Battery. Ensure proper data collection and laboratory analysis on research patients. Maintain adequate research records, including databases of protocol violations, medication distribution, subject recruitment and retention. Provide updates to Clinical Trials and Grants Administrator for preparation of regulatory submissions. Assist Director in writing grants and submitting to Internal Review Board. Interviewed new assistants, and provided training to new hires on all study procedures.Intake Coordinator – Boston, MAInitiate contact to gather required clinical and demographic data from patient and sources. Review referrals and verify all physician information. Determine need for case management intervention and present at rounds. Schedule assessments and complete necessary paperwork.
