As a Business Development Engineer at Mondelēz International, I apply my chemical engineering knowledge and skills to create innovative solutions for packaging, process design, and food safety. I work with cross-functional teams to identify customer needs and develop processes to uphold the values of our company through all our products and services. I enjoy bringing people together to problem solve and work well under pressure and with ambiguity. I have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University, where I graduated in 2023. During my studies, I was the President of the Society of Women Engineers at VCU, a student organization that promotes the advancement and inclusion of women in engineering. I led several initiatives and events, such as the SWE-VCU Mentorship Program, which paired students with professional mentors, and won the Emerging Leader Award, which recognized my leadership and impact. I also am credited as an inventor on a patent for a novel biodegradable gel for humidity control in packaging, which I helped apply as part of a senior design project.I am passionate about using my problem solving and writing skills to create value for customers and society. I enjoy working in teams and learning from diverse perspectives and experiences. I am always eager to take on new challenges and opportunities to grow professionally and personally.
