Team MeetsResponsible for all aspects of team travel which included, but not limited to, making reservations, handled contracts and billing, oversaw all arrangements and managed receipts while traveling, traveled with team to ensure all travel goes smoothly, and made any last minute changes necessary. Prepared team and staff travel reports at all conclusions of travel. As well as maintained team budget to ensure that we were working within the allowances given. At home meets, managed all aspects of hosting a meet including booking judges, creating itineraries, submitting necessary documents by required deadlines, worked directly with event management on the daily schedule/operations, and ensured the meets ran smoothly. Team Liaison/Manager Was the liaison for the Women’s Equestrian Team between the Athletic Department, University and Community. Worked directly with all support staff (Academic Counselor, Compliance, Athletic Trainer, etc.) to ensure that the team goals were being met and any issues were addressed. Worked directly with campus on any necessary issues, recruiting. Worked with the community to promote the sport and create opportunities for the team to participate in community service. Managed the team calendar, scheduled events and booked reservations throughout the year. Oversaw practice logs and other necessary Compliance documents. Horse ManagerI hired, scheduled, and managed 6 student workers and oversaw all necessary horse care. Worked directly with the vet and farrier, and transported horses to and from the vet as necessary. Assisted with the shipping and receiving of horses as necessary, as well as any nighttime medications and oversight, etc.
