I'm Kelsey Ann Chorath, a determined junior at St. Mary’s University, passionately pursuing my BA in Mathematics with a concentration in Actuarial Science and a minor in Biology.🔍 Evolution of Passion:I spent the first 1.5 years of college being a pre-med biology major. The concept of finding information that isn't so obvious to the naked eye always intrigued me in my personal life. That, and my naturally analytical mind drew me to switch from healthcare industry to the business/ tech industry. I am humbled to have the opportunity to learn new skills and open myself up to the new experiences.💡 Diverse Exposure:My exploration extends beyond textbooks. I've immersed myself in the world of insurance through Gamma Iota Sigma, attending conferences, and contributing to risk management data-driven projects. My WSIA internship further deepened my industry knowledge, providing invaluable insights into the intricacies of risk. Additionally, I'm diligently preparing for the SOA Exam P, embracing the challenges that come with it.
