• Was in charge of all issues related to Water, Energy and the Environment.• Carried-out in-depth public policy research on specific subjects from the above and wrote high-level reports allowing informed and proper decision making.• Supervised development of a nationwide GIS designed to track progress of infrastructure projects. • Helped developing new laws opening the Moroccan Power sector to private investment.

• Developped several business opportunities through bid submission (RFPs) and direct negotiation in the Power and Water Production and Distribution industries (BOT, IPP, IWPP, etc...). • Led the effort of establishing the winning team in Morocco's first and only Distribution Company Privatization tender.• Travelled extensively in Morocco, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates.

• Supervised installation and maintenance of all IT Systems in Jorf Lasfar (Morocco) 1300 MW Power Plant. • Actively participated in closing the MENA region’s first IPP deal in September 1997. • Supervised the writing of the technical specifications, the development and implementation of a Billing Software for the $1500 million PPA and participated in plant performance tests during transition.

• Designed and Installed Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Systems (Industrial Automation) for clients the Oil and Energy Industries in the US, Canada, Mexico and Algeria.• Handled all aspects of small to medium size projects including system design, response to RFPs, technical proposals, project follow-up and implementation. • Traveled extensively in North America and Algeria to supervise commissioning of systems.
