🧑🏻‍💻 Hi, I’m Kevin, and I’m an aspiring software engineer. I’m interested in software engineering positions in 2024.Check out some of the projects I’ve been working on below! 👨🏻‍🎓 I’m currently studying computer science at the University of British Columbia (UBC). I also have a MPhil in Bioscience Enterprise (University of Cambridge) and a BSc in Microbiology and Immunology with Distinction (UBC).👨🏻‍💼👨🏻‍🔬 Before making the switch to software engineering, I worked in a variety of positions and industries. Here are some of the interesting ones:- 🧬 Being the first hire at an early stage startup (EndoGene.Bio), where I worked in close partnership with the founders to raise €2M+ in pre-seed/seed funding- 💰 Working as an investment analyst (M Ventures - the corporate venture capital arm of Merck KGaA), where I had the opportunity to be involved in the $6M Series A financing of Neurable (a brain-computer interface startup)- 🧪 Managing the long-term, scale up of production of a cancer therapeutic as a research technician (Vancouver Prostate Centre), where I streamlined and restructured the drug production process to double the processing rate🤝 Let’s connect!
