We also worked with bus uncles, scheduled their bus arrival timing for each of the locations that they are going to return to. (Such as SCDF HQ).During my tenure as a Parade Ambassador for the Singapore National Day Parade (NDP) 2024, I was honored to receive the Star Award for my exemplary performance. My primary responsibilities included escorting ambassadors from their rest points to their designated form-up points, and ensuring their safe and timely movement throughout the event. This involved coordinating the drawing of guns for the parade and maintaining constant communication with other ambassadors via walkie-talkie to manage and streamline traffic flow effectively.Sometimes, I've steped in to assist other ambassadors whenever necessary due to urgent matters or unforeseen absences. This experience honed my leadership and problem-solving skills, as I adeptly managed the seamless coordination of diverse groups under dynamic conditions.Communications are important for the safety of our participants. Roads are barricaded and we facilitated the smooth entry of marching contingents into the parade area. This experience enhanced my skills in logistical coordination, crisis management, and effective communication.
