I managed the Victorian Government’s health media team during some of the busiest and most demanding times the health system has had. I worked extremely closely with Ministers, senior staff and the Department of Health.Some of my responsibilities included implementing media strategies, regular Ministerial briefings, managing staff welfare, coordinating.

I managed complex issues such as the Budget Update, the Annual Financial Report, the introduction and passing of the Windfall Gains Tax and fluctuating labour force numbers.

Generating positive media about the Government’s help for jobseekers and businesses was paramount in this role - including stories on the rollout of the $619 million Jobs Victoria scheme. I also organised stories and responsed on the Government’s investment in mRNA vaccines and other life-saving medical research projects.
