About K Coleman

Hi! My name is K Coleman and I am a 2D animator and puppet rigger stationed in the metro Atlanta area. I am currently a student at the Academy of Art university getting my Masters in 2D Animation. I also have had the pleasures of becoming webmaster of an animation club called Tea Time! During my time at school, I was hired to animate the short film "Restock Day". This opportunity gave me a year of studio experience and I have learned a lot from my animation team as well as applying what I learned from school. What I have learned on this animation journey is to not be afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. I am always open to learn from those around me, even if they don't have a background in animation.

    I was hired to work on a team commissioned by Beth Leak for her passion project "Restock Day". My responsibilities were animating the bowling ball and the coconut. Designing props such as the mop bucket, trolley and shopping carts. Compositing the scenes that were assigned to me, as well as provide sound effects.
