I migrated from the United Kingdom to California with a similar desire for new adventures.Much of my approach to a career stems from where I started. I studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford University and use these three filters to address every business obstacle. In philosophy, you ask why people are doing things, what motivates them, and what's the framework for analyzing why they are doing it. You search for the fundamentals behind everything. Secondly, the politics of any situation is complicated. It is important to understand the background of people and why they hold the views they have, and how to gain influence to prevail or merely understand people's perspectives.
