About Kelly Rooney
I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology and master's degree in Community Psychology from Alverno College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). While pursuing my master's degree, I worked as a preschool teacher for students with a wide range of special needs. During my internship, I gained extensive experience working with adolescents on the autism spectrum and with ADD/ADHD.I have experience working as a Substance Abuse Counselor (SAC-IT) for teenagers at Lad Lake in Dousman, Wisconsin, and I'm proud to serve a wide population through my private practice. I enjoy creating curriculum and leading programs that help kids and adolescents work through social anxieties, transition difficulties and growing peer relationships.
