Creating link2golf was the hardest and most rewarding experience I’ve ever had. My story starts out like most founders with an app idea. What if there was an app that did X,Y, and Z? So inspired by all the possibilities, Link2golf was launched in the App Store six months later. The app started out as a messaging app for golfers, pivoted to a golf course review app, but never made it back to the market due to depleted personal funds. We created numerous pitch decks in an attempt to raise funds from Angels and VC’s, attended FounderSpace Incubator in San Francisco, hired and fired engineers and interns, burned thousands and thousand of dollars, turned down our first term sheet, and even learned how to code, sorta. Link2golf was an adventure and tremendous opportunity, one I will forever be thankful for and cherish.
