DriveTime Automotive Group, Inc. is the largest used car dealer and financing company helping people with credit issues find and finance vehicles in the USA. Currently I oversaw two Inspection Centers with over 260 FTE's as well as manage our part vendor relationships nationwide. Responsibilities- Drive production team to achieve established targets for production and distribution needs. - Hire, coach, lead and develop large scale teams made up of hourly team members and 3 direct reports. - Monitor metrics and Key Performance Indicator's to assess People, Quality, Performance, Safety, Cost management and Productivity.- Help with implementation of and continued adherence to Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives.- Partner and Coordinate with Supply Chain, IT, Analytics, and Vendors to resolve issues and concerns.- Assess and analyze current practices and drive improvements through improved processes and technology.- Manage Part Vendor relationships.

SilverRock was an insurance startup that was created to support its DriveTime customer base. During the creation of the company, executive management decided to launch a retail insurance product for independent, used car dealers. I was hired to create strategies for the sales team, go to market, client acquisition, and operations. I also assisted with software development and co-created the on boarding and training program. Because I had previous startup experience, I was able to contribute in many areas of the business. We had tremendous success launching the company with 30% growth month over month. However, the company decided to shut down the retail arm of the business and focus on its core DriveTime business.

Creating link2golf was the hardest and most rewarding experience I’ve ever had. My story starts out like most founders with an app idea. What if there was an app that did X,Y, and Z? So inspired by all the possibilities, Link2golf was launched in the App Store six months later. The app started out as a messaging app for golfers, pivoted to a golf course review app, but never made it back to the market due to depleted personal funds. We created numerous pitch decks in an attempt to raise funds from Angels and VC’s, attended FounderSpace Incubator in San Francisco, hired and fired engineers and interns, burned thousands and thousand of dollars, turned down our first term sheet, and even learned how to code, sorta. Link2golf was an adventure and tremendous opportunity, one I will forever be thankful for and cherish.

Held several positions within the Earnhardt organization. During my last leadership role, I was in charge of hiring, training, motivating, and building sales teams for the Rodeo Ford location. My core competency was increasing sales and generating healthy margins. Other responsibilities included managing the sales cycle, customer service, and Internet lead generation and conversion. During my tenure, I was able to help the store reach record months in sales volume, gross profit, and improved customer satisfaction.

Scott Marketing offered direct mail services to auto dealerships throughout the west coast. We helped dealers strategize their mail campaigns to get the best response and ROI. I worked closely with the management team and sales staff to optimize their store traffic and convert customers to sales.
