I spent the first seven years of my professional life as an analytical chemist. I gravitated towards the machines, specifically mass spectrometers, as well as the data processing aspect of the job. Over time, my interest in creating a more efficient and effective way of processing large amounts of data led me into the world of software development. Now that I've made the change to full-stack software development, I've found that I am passionate about creating cloud-based applications. Using AWS, I have developed a full stack application using AWS RDS for storage, API Gateway and Cloudfront for serving, Lambda for processing and React for displaying telemetric data from IoT edge devices.
