Pitch Global is a satellite of Tech Futures Group, A program of the Northern California Small Business Development Center that provides free advisory services to qualified technology companies. Our EIR’s, Axel Tillmann and me, are authorized to pick any tech company which meets Norcal SBDA’s objectives of doubling the annual assistance to the Tech ecosystem in Silicon Valley from $ 500 m (at present) to $ 1 b. Companies we have mentored over the years have a high degree of fundraising successes.Apart from high level US Govt funded Mentoring, we run investor events in Silicon Valley, LA and London, both in person and virtual and hybrid. We have become one of the leading network of investors from reputed funds in silicon valley and beyond and have played match making role leading to thousands of global entrepreneurs connecting to relevant investors leading to hundreds of funding over the years. The attached article in Fox 43 sums up how we have adapted to the pandemic era and improved our success rate in funding. The sponsor of the following video from one of our events in LA few years ago, mental health co Ootify, received their first outside investment from Nex3/Sway ventures after they connected at this event. Nex3 went on to make investment offers to many companies from Pitch Global like Meet Caregivers (which also got investment from Pipeline Angels which they met at our event), Eiga Health, Fananalyse, The Beauty Market place and many others.

Recruit and mentor candidates for the LLS Man & Woman of the Year (MWOY) program, 10 weeks of extensive fund raising. As Mentor of the Campaign of Emmy Winning Media turned PR entrepreneur, Victoria De Alba, I inspired her to write some articles, one of which (see attached) got picked up by the SF Chronicle based on which anonymous donor donated $ 1 m (our guess) to endow a position for blood Cancer Research for Latino Community. In 2015, I was the Mentor of the Woman of the Year campaigns of one leading Model and one former Model who ran the philanthropic arm of large retail company. Both Campaigns collectively raised 6 figures in 10 weeks and some of the innovations included obtaining Google Express as the Sponsor of LLS’s Grand Gala at Fairmont for the first time.I Collaborated with other Executive Committee members to develop program strategy in terms of recruitment, ways to incorporate the mission component, candidate training, and how to increase fundraising goals. As a Board Member for the successful Campaign of Roger Royse, Founder of Royse Law Firm, I was involved in the full life cycle of the 10 week long campaign, from conceptualizing innovative fundraising events like auctioning lunch meetings with leading VC’s and tech celebrities like Sean Parker and Ron Conway.

As a Serial entrepreneur and occasional intrapreneur, I helped start the following cos and in couple of them, I stayed back after exit and worked in Corporate Mgm:1. Biztech –Acquired by TCG Software, outsourcing arm of TCG, PE &VC Fund affiliated to George Soros.2. Datamethods –Merged into the Holding Co which later got acquired by global outsourcing co at a higher multiple.3. InnoMethods –Exited my stake to the main founder.4. Startup Mind—merged into Pitch Global.5. Lead Socially –Had to give up my stake to our investors and exit. First time, I was the main founder/CEO and learnt the hard way what not to do.6. Pitch Global—See above. After the publication of The First Mile (John Wiley), book of entrepreneurship commissioned by TIE, largest network of entrepreneurs in the world, I started becoming a speaker at lot of Tech Events and incubators like Plug&Play, TIE Institute etc. I Spent a lot of time doing inter-disciplinary research and coming up with the first draft of SEE, FEEL,ASK, ACT a book on Leadership & Motivation which I have now re written as Grow Your Mindset.Following is a 1 1/2 hr video of me speaking at TIE, Silicon Valley.
