Human Capital represented my first time on the venture capital side of things. My time at Human Capital exposed me to a lot of important learnings related to the startup and venture landscape and how some of the best companies grow and scale. At HouseCanary, I led and managed their talent initiatives and recruiting team. Our team was responsible for twenty-three hires in four months during 2019 and twelve hires during three months in 2020. I was responsible for forty-one full-time hires during my time there across technical and non-technical roles, and also helped build the Design and Test Engineering teams from the ground-up.

Massdrop was my first role as an in-house recruiter, and I gained a lot of valuable experience related to understanding headcount planning, compensation bands, how to build a best-in-class candidate experience, and collaborating directly with hiring managers and other internal stakeholders. I recruited for a wide variety of roles, including Product Management, Creative, Copywriting, Data Analytics, and Software Engineering.

During my time at Riviera, I was converted to a full-time role and saw one promotion, and more importantly, gained invaluable experience with regards to recruiting fundamentals and best practices.Besides day-to-day recruiting for roles like Software Engineering, Product Management, and Design, I was fortune to wear a lot of different hats at Riviera, including working in tandem with the analytics team to develop a weekly report outlining revenue, key data points, and search trends for all of Riviera's practices and business groups.
