  MAJOR DUTIES Analyzes and follows up on all consumer self pay accounts that remain unpaid after 60 days. Analyzes and follows up on all third party payers that have an unpaid balance after 45 daysWork closely with consumers and staff on payment agreements, account status and any related issues. Follow up on payment agreements to ensure compliance. Coordinates collection of progress notes, treatment plans, diagnostic information and other pertinent information from the consumer or provider as requested by third party payers to expedite claim payment. Completes the alerts and applicable note fields with information regarding status of account, problems incurred and resolution of issues to provide documentation. Completes in-house billing corrections, Processes denials from third party payers.Conducts review on delinquent third-party payments, through use of reports, with insurance personnel, staff, etc., and coordinates re-bills, information collection/correction/re-submission, etc. to facilitate fee collection and maximization of revenue,Completes all requisite training in a timely manner as mandated by the agency and/or state, federal and local regulations. Verify eligibility daily on all third party payers to include Medicare, Commercial, and Military insurance.
