Supporting the Colorado Partnership for Thriving Families to implement the national Thriving Families, Safer Children initiative, which is an effort to fundamentally rethink child welfare by focusing on prevention and creating the conditions for strong, supported families. Thriving Families is a partnership with the federal government, Casey Family Programs, the Annie E. Casey Foundation, and Prevent Child Abuse America.

I was promoted from India Fellows Lead to Leadership Manager in 2017 to expand our leadership work, build strategy and partnerships, and amplify the impact of our 130+ alumni through resources and programmatic support. Specific Achievements include: - Crafted and began executing on strategy for Acumen Academy India that expands our leadership work to include multiple program offerings, and grows our community from 130 to over 1000 members in 5 years - Established community building as a new pillar of our global work through a participatory approach, by creating and hiring a new role, building strategy, launching a pipeline of monthly offerings for our community and scaling some of these offerings to multiple Acumen geographies. - Redesigned the global recruitment strategy and our entire selection process to increase efficiency, increase diversity of cohorts and engage alumni community- Designed, tested and built out an entire curriculum on systems thinking and power, which made up 20% of the fellowship year. Trained our global leadership team on how to facilitate this in each of our geographies- Conducted 7 experiments in “Communities of Practice”, amplifying impact through small sectoral and geographical communities focused on shared learning, resources and network - Brought our content and workshops to numerous programs including Government of India’s Aspirational District Fellows Program, Piramal Foundation, and N/Core.- Received the “Values Award”, an annual award voted on by the global Acumen team, and given to two individuals who best reflect Acumen’s values

Joined DKN Hotels as an intrapreneur in charge of due diligence, acquisition, opening and change management of a new boutique hotel as the first experiment in revamping non-branded beach properties for one year. Post this, spent six months filling the gap at Headquarters leading the revamping of recruitment and hiring for the expanding operations of the company. - Developing and implementing a vision to turn the 17-room Cardiff by-the-Sea Lodge into an upscale boutique hotel - Executed the Due Diligence, Financing and Acquisition of the property- Interim manager at the hotel from May '14 to July '14, set up new systems and processes, hired and trained new team of 6 people- Increased hotel scores on Tripadvisor from 66% to 90% in 4 months through new marketing and customer service initiatives- Managed the design, financial projections and community outreach process for the renovation

Managed the operations and execution of the intensive yearlong fellowship program, mentored and advised fellows, facilitated and designed workshops, managed non-profit partners and supported alumni engagement.- Active member of a team of 3 people managing and growing the organization.- Designed and successfully co-facilitated 12 workshops focused on training Indicorps Fellows, Community Members and Children- Produced several print media (postcards, flyers, newsletters) reaching out to 250+ audience, and managed all Indicorps social media- Managed, trained, and mentored 2012 Indicorps Fellows on the ground through weekly phone calls, documentation, workshops and site visits contributing to their successful completion of project goals- Revived and led the 2013 Youth Leadership Course, a 5 week program for 8 local youth between 18 – 24, who actively engaged in their cities vision and development through session-based programs and community volunteering.

Indicorps is a non-profit organization focused in the space of grassroots and leadership development through the form of 1 - 2 year Fellowships. Fellows partner with community based organizations pan-India on projects covering a variety of development themes.I was partnered with Bhumi, an organization focused on leadership development in Rasoolpura, the largest slum community in Hyderabad. The project focused on creating a curriculum and platform for potential and existing entrepreneurs in the community.- Lived and engaged in Rasoolpura, a slum community in Hyderabad, with a project to foster entrepreneurship in the community.- Produced and began implementation of an Entrepreneurship curriculum geared towards women living in slum communities of India resulting in culmination of 3 enterprises and a Micro-Enterprise Committee of Rasoolpura- Initiated 3 vocational training programs enrolling 60 women total to the Bhumi Learning Center- Collaborated with Auto Rickshaw drivers in Rasoolpura to explore possible cooperative business models- Brought the first Micro-Enterprise Fair for current and potential entrepreneurs to the community with over 80 community members attending and 12 different government and non-government organizations.- Created higher level strategy and redesign for Bhumi through workshops and production of a communications manual- Collaborated with other NGO’s, Government organizations, individuals and enterprises to successfully implement the project
