I am a game systems designer with a masters in game design and past experience as a physics teacher. I specialize in designing deep mechanics which encourage players to interact with the game and think in novel ways. I have strong experience in programming and a strong background in analytical thinking and mathematics. While I enjoy working on games intended to be fun, I also have a deep passion in serious or education games. As a game designer for a small startup I have worn many hats, handing the design, development, and analysis of the project single handedly. In this project and others I have taken an initial concept and fleshed it out, both in documentation and in code, into a functional and research backed product that achieves its intended impact on the player and is fun.
