About David Kohler

David Kohler is Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Kohler Co. He is the fourth generation of the Kohler family to lead the company since its inception in 1873 and has served Kohler for over 30 years. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his MM from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern, David spent most of his career in the Kitchen & Bath business, until becoming President and Chief Operating Officer in 2009 and CEO in 2015.Outside of the office, David has a passion for sports. He is General Chair for the 2020 PGA of America Ryder Cup, held in 2021 at Whistling Straits, and an avid fan of both the Green Bay Packers – where he sits on the Board of Directors - and Manchester United. He also enjoys the outdoors, wellness activities and spending time with his family.
