Co-Founder / OperationsM2Synergies, Inc. Feb 2002 - 2013Managing partner of an advertising agency consultancy studio located in Buffalo NY. The Buffalo arm of the STUDIO, LLC brand is also known as M2Synergies, Inc. My role over the years has grown from being an interactive Flash and HTML / CSS developer to one who manages client relationships, and at our peak, 12 employees. We have worked side-by-side with STUDIO, LLC in handling several larger development projects that required back-end PHP, Ruby, and other technology support. The first few years, I personally was responsible for Flash and HTML/CSS development for banners ads and mini sites for brands such as Calvin Klein, ESPN, Telus, Labatt, TBS, NHL, WWE and more. I was a lead HTML/CSS developer 2 major initiatives for early CSS-driven sites - www.science.com and www.bt.com. My role changed into more project managing and business development as we began to reach out into the Buffalo market. I have managed relationships and the interactive side of projects for Cenergy Communications, Crowley Webb, Martin Group, Travers Collins, and more.I have also consulted with several startups from the technology and online business development side of the relationship. Every day of the week, six new crazy deals are launched at Midnight Eastern Standard Time (9pm for you guys and gals on the west coast) and run for a 24 hour period or until sold out.My role was in the development of the interactive HTML / CSS side of the application as well as assisting in early business development and marketing initiatives. As an early player in the Deal of the Day space, Midnightbox.com quickly gained market share and membership, and our daily traffic grew into 10s of thousands of unique visitors nightly. From a marketing standpoint, it was my role to create new and exciting events on a nightly basis to generate buzz and traffic. This included nightly contests, promotions and more. One of our more successful initiatives included a weekly live video broadcast of the product offering with open discussions with the members in live chat and video skype calls. MidnightBox.com continues to be a successful player in the daily deal space after a favorable exit from my partnership with the company.

Interactive DeveloperGarden-Time.Com Feb 2003 - Feb 2004Garden-time.com was a business built around delivering customized garden content for gardening enthusiasts. Our partnership with the National Gardening Association allowed us to generate unique experiences for the user. We were an early adopter of specialized content based on a user profile, and created a business model that was both b-to-b and b-to-c. Local garden centers would participate by joining an online directory and selling their services, much like an Angie's List does today. Users could rate those services and recommend them to their friends. My role was in assisting with business development and strategic initiatives, as well as building the interactive HTML/CSS and Flash portions of the website.
