I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Systems Management with a precision agriculture certificate from the University of Missouri. In addition to precision agriculture my degree focused upon operations management, surface water management, structural engineering, technology in business, logistics, sales, marketing, and law among many other things. This comes after a nearly 23 year career in transportation. My career started in highway maintenance involving heavy equipment operation, traffic management and operational safety. As my career progressed, I moved into leadership and management roles, ultimately as a maintenance superintendent responsible for all maintenance operations in a three county area of south central Missouri. My responsibilities included personnel development, budgeting, equipment/resource management and customer service. Moving forward I am driven towards career expansion and lifelong learning. I earned my MBA from the Trulaske School of Business at the University of Missouri.
