Karen has worked in accounting for over 20 years, primarily serving small to medium sized businesses experiencing growth. She has held positions of Statistical Analyst, Accounting Manager, Controller and Business Services Manager serving the A/E, Environmental, Manufacturing, Telecommunications and Construction industries. Her hands-on experience with growing businesses has cultivated a knowledge-base covering financial & managerial accounting, procedure development & improvement, forecasting & financial model development. These core skills combined with proficiency in HR, Contract Management, and her strong network of CPA, Banking, IT and Insurance providers prove an asset to Small Business Owners. Karen’s recent projects include migration of On-Site File Server and Accounting Software to cloud based solutions including Office 365 + SharePoint, Exact Online and Quickbooks. Staff reorganization, training & process improvement, development of internal controls, process automation & outsourcing, forensic accounting for high net-worth marriage dissolution, and intricate financial model development for both service and manufacturing industries. After 20 successful years in Seattle, Karen moved to Gainesville, FL in 2017 to be closer to family and the sunshine.
