(Social stories, visual schedules, oral sensory diet, Task Galore).• Configures and operates computer software to support programming needs. Personalization of programs to meet the needs of students. (e.g. created forced order Clicker 5 grid with schedule specific photos )• Supports speech, language and articulation remediation programs in addition to alternative forms of communication as required.• Administers and monitors use of medications and health concerns such as seizures and diabetic glucose testing.• Assists with mobility issues, lifting, feeding, toileting and positioning as required.• Follows programs outlined by Occupational, Physical and Speech and Language therapists. • Assists in the development and implementation of safety plans as required.• Uses strong organizational and problem-solving skills by arranging weekly lunches for the school, launches the school’s “Spirit Wear” clothing line each year, leads regular classroom directed fundraising projects, provides food baskets to classrooms through the Food for Learning Program and takes on an active role in school musical productions and fundraising events. Prepares newsletters effectively communicating with parents, collects and deposits money, accurately ordering and arranging delivery and managing large groups of students in support of these activities.
