Successfully built a North American based Development team consisting of DEV, DBA, QA, BA and PM fromscratch, fully integrating them into the original European based team. Leveraged experience with custom rules based Parsing Engines to help design one for a mission critical migration project. Reduced the migration effort from an initial 200 man year effort down to 20, and saved the company several million dollars in labor, while increasing the quality of the data moved. For 2 years running achieved 95% success rate of feature rollout, met all deadlines and milestones, while simultaneously ramping up new team members as Release and Delivery Manager for 2 mission critical products. With a combined database of over 100 million records, running at 1200 TPS with over 50,000 concurrent users, this is one of the largest Oracle production databases in the world. It was accessed by various fat client, Web, Web Service, and mobile (iPhone, iPad, Android) clients such as Expedia.com, AA.com, Credit Card Processing (PCI) Web Service and TripCase iOS. Managed and led the mainframe to open systems migration project that exceeded goals every year by at least 30%. My team won several performance awards.Automated Release Notes, Schema, WSDL, Sample XML process for each release from a 4 week manualprocess down to 2 days at 80% automated. • Defined, taught and enforced related documentation such as Technical User Guides, and maintenance ofsuch items to be intertwined in the Delivery process; an example is an actual task assigned to a BA for updating the RELEASE_NOTES field in a user story. As a result, customer satisfaction feedback increased by over 50% in the first year.• Established and promoted numerous training opportunities for technical and business employees such as bi- weekly Knowledge Sessions.• Active in Intern hiring and training programs, with 100% success rate with assigned interns being offered a full time position with the company.

Led and managed all phases of bidding, proposals and development including project design, maintenance, supervision of remote engineers, scheduling, cost estimation, and time estimation.- Successfully rescued a mission critical application development project for a Fortune 500 apparel company that had twice failed by a large, well known consulting firm, saving the company several hundred thousand dollars.- Transitioned an Australian based medical software system to run on MS SQL Server and Postgres, adhere to HIPAA security regulations, and additional critical features allowing them to sell to the U.S. Army and North American surgeons, increasing their sales by an order of magnitude.
