I am a Filipina American who has always had a passion for serving her community and being a person people can rely on to listen to and motivate them. I am always that shoulder my peers and loved ones can lean on when in times of need. I am a person who heavily values an environment that promotes the overall health and well-being of others and finds mental and self-care to be most important above all.I am someone who feels deeply and can empathize with others and thus am a people person who enjoys being and working in group settings. I put genuine care and education into things I am passionate about and am a fast and adaptable learner when needed. My enthusiasm to help others really stems from being an only child to immigrant parents who completed their education in the Philippines but were not granted the same opportunities one gets completing higher education here in the US. Thus I asspire to work diligently to provide for my family as well as promote the ideas which I am passionate about - for people to feel understood and to take care of themselves holistically.
