Platinum Consultants was established in 2016 to provide the "Recruitment and Labour Hire Industry" with management and functional support to assist with business growth, compliance and enhance service delivery performance. In August 2016, Kirk sold one of his companies at the time, IN-Fusion Management Pty. Ltd. to the Tecside Group, which is a West Australian based labour hire and recruitment organisation. This acquisition was highly strategic, to help the Tecside Group achieve its aspirations of building an east coast presence. At the time of purchase, Tecside Group had consolidated revenue of $70M with a modest profit of $800K. By the end of the financial year 2019, this had grown to $120M revenue and $4M net profit. This improvement was the direct result of the east coast operations, which Kirk continued to lead and drive in a “hands-on” consulting capacity and directly contributed in excess of $35M revenue and $2.2M net profit. Having fulfilled contractual commitments to the Tecside group, by successfully transitioning his company and helping to build their business. Kirk subsequently completed his engagement in September 2019
