S&S' amazing Creative Director, Dylcia Barnhart was heading out on maternity leave and they needed someone to fill her shoes. I signed on in March of 2020 and then the world shut down. Even thought I didn't get to many people in person, I had a blast learning about the grocery business, overseeing the internal creative team, partnering with a variety of external agencies and doing work that made a real difference during an extremely scary and isolating time. During my time at S&S, I oversaw a ton of campaigns that spanned multiple channels (in-store, digital, TV, OLV, Social, Print, OOH, web and Radio). I also had the opportunity to initiate, develop and implement a comprehensive briefing and creative review process and work with an agency partner to develop and roll out new visual brand guidelines.
