Developed a rigorous coding scheme for how to understand each opinion, and measured how they changed over time• Performed a linear regression analysis using STATA, and demonstrated that the effect of democracy on the likelihood of war instigation obtains if and only if countries have both (1) a restrained executive, and (2) wide voter suffrage. Resulted in a conference presentation paper.• Designed a survey experiment using AWS MechanicalTurk which measured whether a generalized dislike for Weapons of Mass Destruction or casualty aversion was a better predictor of public disdain for their use. Data was analyzed using ANOVA and other statistical tools. Resulted in a conference presentation paper. -
