As a seasoned LMSW with over 20 years of experience in mental health, education, and administration, I am eager to advance my career at the mezzo level, where I can help organizations and individuals enhance their training, development, and company culture. My career began as a clinician at a residential treatment center, where I developed a deep passion for trauma-informed care. I have since worked in schools across New York and California, implementing the School Climate Transformation Grant to support students' academic, behavioral, and socio-emotional needs through multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) frameworks. As McKinley's Director of Training and Development, I continued to champion trauma-informed practices. My dedication to this cause led me to work with the La Maida Project, where I became a trainer; I led a team of La Maida trainers at McKinley, promoting empathy and understanding through ecological trauma-informed workshops. As the Director of Training and Development, I also managed a team of program and clinical trainers, as well as a training assistant, in order to provide onboarding and annual training for 400+ employees in various departments at our organization. In this role, I used my knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS), to both create training plans for our employees, as well as manage their training compliance. I am eager to connect with professionals and organizations looking for a dedicated and hard working leader to join their team!
