    I managed product designers crafting the user experience of telecomm applications for small business, residential, enterprise and mobile platforms. In this role I collected a large team of distributed designers - a mixture of junior and seniors, and contractors and in-house staff - and created a unified Product/UX Design team. This enabled us to apply a consistent process accross all roles and projects for intake and estimation of work, which then enabled better resource planning, and also to more effectively apply the company's design system accross projects. I created a dedicated UX research position to support design, and trained designers in usability study best practices.
